Captain Rizz emerged from London’s underground music scene with a sound that defies genre—psychedelic space rock meets roots reggae, delivered with theatrical flair and revolutionary spirit. As a former frontman for Hawkwind and the founder of the Rizz Posse, he’s toured across Europe, electrified festivals, and stood as a political candidate under the Rizz Party and Class War banners.

The movement began in 1992, when political activist Captain Rizz stepped forward as a candidate, backed by his band The Rizz Posse. Their unique sound caught the attention of legendary psychedelic rockers Hawkwind, cementing their place in underground music history.
The Rizz Anthem video was originally produced by JP-MASSIVE — bassist, backing vocalist, engineer, and producer of the Rizz Manifesto album. One of the standout tracks from that record, it embodies the spirit of resistance and empowerment.
For years, the video was unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances and the breakdown of a long-term friendship between JP-MASSIVE and Captain Rizz. But now, JP-MASSIVE stayed focused put it’s back in the public domain — to remind us of a timeless truth: people hold the power over their destiny.

The Rizz Anthem album was recorded with the support of Simon Turner (R.I.P) and at Cally Road Studio, then owned by JP‑MASSIVE aka ACE of Spade. From there, Captain Rizz and The Rizz Posse toured the UK as support for Hawkwind, earning recognition across the scene.
That recognition opened doors to Europe — headlining tours in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland. To connect with audiences in Eastern Europe, the band evolved their rock‑dance energy into a reggae‑dance vibe, stepping out as Captain Reggae. The transformation was bold, necessary, and unforgettable.
