Richard Bauduin, known as Blue Guitar internationally and L’Homme à la guitare bleue in France, was born on February 13, 1981, in Saint-Saulve, northern France. He picked up the guitar at 14 and developed a unique style blending flamenco rhythms with poetic French chanson.
He’s collaborated with legendary French lyricists like Claude Lemesle, Allain Leprest, Boris Bergman, and François Welgryn.
He’s opened for artists such as Jacques Higelin, Sapho, and Nicole Croisille, and co-wrote around 20 songs with Allain Leprest in just three days on themes of women, happiness, and friendship. He also teams up with Romani guitarist and singer Boï Le Patchivalo, adding authentic gypsy colors to his music.
