In the world of independent music, few artists carry a story as deep, personal, and transformative as Deepspawn_Logic. A producer, spoken‑word artist, and storyteller, she creates music that doesn’t just play, it holds you still, pulling you into a space where time slows down and emotion becomes the centrepiece. Her work is rooted in lived experience, shaped by loss, rebuilt through creativity, and delivered with a voice that feels both intimate and powerful.
A Journey Built From Healing
Deepspawn_Logic began writing at nineteen, keeping decades of poetry and spoken word private. Between 2018 and 2020, she faced a wave of personal losses — her grandmother, her mother, loved ones, even the family dog. That grief became the turning point. Her husband placed her in front of a DAW and a MIDI keyboard, and something clicked. Hours passed. Music poured out. She found the one thing that held her together when nothing else could.
By April 2022, she released her first instrumental track, “The Other Side,” and never stopped creating.
A Sound That Lives Between Worlds
Her music blends neo‑soul, jazz, spoken word, electronic fusion, and atmospheric storytelling. Every track is built with intention, immersive, emotional, and crafted to take listeners somewhere else.
Her upcoming spoken‑word album “She Me Her” explores:
- Identity
- Resilience
- Womanhood
- Self‑acceptance
- The many versions of one woman
Set against soul, jazz, R&B, and rhythm, it’s a project shaped by the lineage of Nina Simone, Jill Scott, Floetry, Lauryn Hill, Nikki Giovanni, Sonia Sanchez, and Gil Scott‑Heron.
A Growing Catalogue
Her releases include:
- “you’ve got a way” — spoken‑word woven into atmospheric production
- “Honey Hush” — animated music video
- “It’s Time” — official music video
- “Reborn” — emotional, cinematic soundscape
- “When One Door Closes” — reflective, soulful EP
- “U Got Me Runnin’” — neon‑lit electronic fusion
Her YouTube channel hosts The Deep Cuts: Unwritten Sessions, a late‑night series blending jazz, soul, rhythm, and spoken word, built for headphones and introspection.
Founder of Indie Rhythm & Rise
In 2022, she launched Indie Rhythm & Rise, a platform dedicated to uplifting independent artists who pour everything into their craft. It reflects her belief that the most powerful stories are often the ones we never say out loud.
